Learn the skills you hope you'll never need.
A two-day, hands-on survival school on Auckland's West Coast, teaching first aid, fire lighting, navigation, shelter, water and emergency skills.
Taught by women, for women. No macho mansplaining. Just practical know-how, real confidence, and a bloody good weekend.
"On 13 February 2023, Cyclone Gabrielle tore through the North Island. I was out with my fire crew. We lost two of our own that night. It cracked something open in me.
I'd spent years learning the skills that help when everything goes wrong. But I realised most people — especially women — are never taught them.
I didn't want to teach survival the usual macho, mansplaining way. I wanted to create something practical, welcoming and genuinely empowering.
So I built the school I wished existed."

About
You've googled "what do I do in a disaster" at 11pm from your bed. You've added a first aid kit to your cart and never checked it out. You've said "I really should learn that" approximately forty-seven times.
Babe. This is your sign.
She'll Be Right is a two-day wilderness survival camp for women who are done waiting to feel prepared. We're not here to scare you into stockpiling or bore you into submission with a PowerPoint. We're here to get your hands dirty, your confidence dialled, and send you home with skills that actually stick.
Think survival skills… minus the misery, with a bit of "she'll be right" energy. Female-led, hands-on, and built around fun — a little grit, a little glamour, and yes, there will be bubbles.
Limited spots. Come get quietly dangerous.
Still thinking about it? You don't need to be ready — you just need to show up.

The Instructors
Filmmaker by trade, volunteer firefighter by choice, and founder of She'll Be Right. Zoe brings in a rotating line-up of fellow female instructors for every camp — specialists in first aid, navigation, and bush skills — so no two intakes look quite the same, but every one is built and led by women who've actually done the thing they're teaching.
Expressions of Interest
We're keeping our first intake intentionally small — just 15 women.
